Therapy - $130: Is a four week program. The dogs and handlers will learn about how to be a therapy dog. Classroom time will include working with canes, crutches, walkers and a wheelchair. Hands on training in the nursing home too! The therapy dog and it’s handler will receive certification from Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs Inc. upon completion of this program. The handler and their therapy dog may do therapy visits at nursing homes, hospitals, schools and even libraries as book buddies.
Recommendations for this class: Dog must be one year old or older to enroll in therapy program.
